Cologne/Aschaffenburg, August 29, 2022 – Handball-Bundesliga GmbH has a new official digitization partner at its side. A collaboration has been agreed with the Aschaffenburg-based IT company PASS Consulting Group for the next three years, until June 30, 2025. PASS is developing a smartphone app with LIQUI MOLY HBL for all handball fans.
The international software and IT consulting company will make its first promotional appearance at the Pixum Super Cup 2022 in Düsseldorf. A PASS name partnership for social media content on the LIQUI MOLY HBL channels is also planned. With more than 40 years of experience in software development, the company wants to become even more visible as a reliable partner for digitalization in handball and sports clubs.
The PASS Consulting Group is working together with the Handball-Bundesliga to create a smartphone application for handball fans on Android and iOS devices. Based on the "Handball Performance Index" (HPI), as a benchmark for transparent and comparable evaluation of player performance, it will be possible in the future for every handball fan to playfully ascend to the best Bundesliga manager.

In addition to the new format in the LIQUI MOLY HBL social media, the PASS Consulting Group will also be present in the league in the future through classic advertising media. For example, over the next three years the digitization partner will appear on the LED boards at the Pixum Super Cup and the REWE Final4 tournament, as well as in the form of banner ads on the HBL homepage.
In addition to sponsoring the LIQUI MOLY HBL, PASS has also been involved for several years with two clubs in the 2nd Handball-Bundesliga in its Lower Franconian home region, namely TV Großwallstadt and the Wölfe Würzburg.
