The PASS Consulting Group is consistently expanding its nearshore services, thereby strengthening its portfolio of scalable software development and IT services. A key component of this is the Development Center in Tunisia, which has grown significantly over the past year and is playing an increasingly important role in the PASS Group’s delivery model.
By expanding this location, PASS is strategically increasing its development capacity and responding to the rising demand for flexible, cost-effective, and high-quality IT services. Companies benefit from scalable pools of expertise, quick response times, and significant cost advantages.
The service portfolio of PASS Nearshore Services ranges from individual specialists to complete project teams, for example within the framework of managed services or fixed-price projects. This enables customers to respond flexibly to skills shortages, rising cost pressures, or growing backlogs.
Close cooperation in accordance with European standards
The shared time zone with Germany creates ideal conditions for close integration between teams and enables seamless, efficient real-time collaboration—all within a reliable European framework.
“Tunisia is an attractive nearshoring location with highly skilled IT professionals,” explains Ahmed Tayeche, Managing Director of the PASS Development Center Tunisia. “Our employees are already supporting numerous PASS project teams and business units in Germany. Our goal is to further expand the location and establish it as an integral part of the PASS Group.”
In recent months, the on-site team has been significantly expanded. At the same time, the Development Center has moved into larger, modern office space in the Les Berges du Lac 2 business district, located directly on the Mediterranean Sea and in close proximity to international companies. The new premises offer optimal conditions for collaboration and international project phases, as well as modern workspaces.

Grand opening of the new offices: PASS CEO Gerhard Rienecker, Head of Development Andreas Rinner, and Sarah Rienecker (Innovation & Investment Management) paid a visit to the team in Tunis. Approximately 60 colleagues from Tunisia attended the event in person and virtually.
