PASS turns 40

PASS Consulting Group will celebrate its 40th anniversary on April 1, 2021. Larger events with employees and customers will unfortunately be cancelled this year, but with a digital event in the summer, the company wants to look ahead and continue its journey true to the vision "For a better digital world".

It was the 1st of April1, 1981, when company founder Gerhard Rienecker – who still manages the company today – registered PASS EDV-Beratung (German for PASS IT Consulting) in the commercial register at the district court of Aschaffenburg, Germany. From a business idea of the young student the foundation stone for a success story was laid.

A lot has happened since then: From the company headquarters in Aschaffenburg, PASS grew to a total of eight locations within Germany and additional offices in the USA and India. What started out as just a few employees has grown to around 600 today, all of whom are dedicated to the core business of digitization in the business areas of banking, insurance, tourism, logistics, the public sector, industry and telecommunications, where they are shaping the future together with our customers.

PASS would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have made PASS what it is today over the past 40 years. This applies to our customers, who trust in software solutions from our company and value our work, as well as to the numerous current and former employees, who are still involved today in correctly interpreting technological, social and global developments and incorporating these findings into solutions for the market and our customers.
