PASS and EAST Consulting enter into a strategic partnership

PASS Global Consulting Alliance AG and EAST Consulting China Co., Ltd. have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. Together, they aim to support automotive OEMs and suppliers worldwide with projects relating to automotive software process management, functional safety, cybersecurity and SOTIF.

The partners are combining their consulting and assessment services for companies with development sites in Europe and China. This enables international development projects to be supported across national borders. Time zones, language requirements and regional requirements are incorporated into the project work from the outset.

A key focus of the collaboration is on Automotive SPICE, functional safety, cybersecurity, SOTIF, and OEM-specific consulting and assessment services. In doing so, they address key challenges facing the automotive industry: increasing regulatory requirements, growing software complexity, internationally distributed development organisations, and robust, auditable engineering processes.

Complementary expertise for international clients

EAST Consulting supports automotive OEMs and suppliers in automotive software process management, automotive SPICE assessments, functional safety, cybersecurity, SOTIF and process-related tool solutions. The team of consultants includes Automotive SPICE Principal Assessors, functional safety experts and VW SQIL consultants.

The PASS Global Consulting Alliance combines IT consulting, software development, and IT infrastructure and cloud services. The Quality Consulting division supports automotive OEMs and suppliers in implementing regulatory requirements, establishing robust software processes and further developing complex development organisations.

Collaboration beyond consulting

The collaboration includes joint consulting and assessment projects, as well as joint marketing, social media and event activities. EAST Consulting will market selected training courses and seminars offered by the PASS Global Consulting Alliance in China. Conversely, the PASS Global Consulting Alliance will act as the European partner for ESUIT, EAST Consulting’s process management and quality audit tool.
